How 5 Star Cards customers opt in to text notifications

About the program

5 Star Cards sends transactional SMS/text notifications to customers who have explicitly opted in. Messages provide updates about customer-submitted trading cards, grading orders, consignment items, pending marketplace offers, grading results, and order completion. Messages are sent only to the mobile number the customer provides in their account. This program is not promotional, and we never message purchased or third-party contact lists.

Opt in to SMS notifications

Opting in is completely optional. You can browse and use every part of 5 Star Cards — create an account, submit cards, buy, sell, and complete transactions — without providing a phone number or agreeing to receive SMS messages. Opting in is never required to create or use a 5 Star Cards account. Providing a phone number for your account, orders, or payouts does not sign you up for text messages — you receive them only if you check a consent box yourself. Account holders can also opt in when completing their profile, via the same optional, unchecked consent checkbox shown there.
